I worked with Mary on the State of Illinois' massive Web Modernization effort, where Adobe partnered with Illinois to migrate 60 sites to Adobe Experience Manager using a global Design Framework. Mary's role was an author for these sites, but more then just authoring, Mary took ownership of several of the sites moved over to Adobe Experience Manager, working as a liaison between the onshore and client teams and the offshore teams that did the base mass-migration efforts. The sites were not only migrated, but they also leveraged the design framework, which required a conversion from the legacy functionality used to manage dynamic and static pages into the new, enhanced components within Adobe Experience Manager. Mary did a great job jumping right into the fold, showing initiative to own the sites assigned to her and provide expert point of view to keep the sites assigned to her on schedule and with an eye for high quality.
